Women Taking the Wheel at the Saywell Track Day

At Women in Wheels, we have always believed that driving should be about confidence, enjoyment and opportunity.

That is why we are incredibly excited to be part of something rather special on 27th June at Goodwood Motor Circuit.

For the first time ever at a Saywell Track Day event, an all-female session will take place where women will have the opportunity to take to the track independently, without male drivers sharing the session.

It might sound like a small change, but for many women it represents something much bigger.

Creating Space for Confidence

Track days can be intimidating, especially if it is your first time.

Many women tell us they have always wanted to experience driving on a circuit but have felt nervous about joining a traditional track day environment. Not because they lack the ability, but because stepping into an unfamiliar space can feel daunting.

This dedicated Women's session changes that. It creates an environment where women can focus on enjoying the experience, building confidence and developing their driving skills in a supportive setting alongside other women who share the same passion.

There is no pressure to prove anything.

Just an opportunity to get behind the wheel and enjoy the drive.

More Than a Track Day

At Women in Wheels, we often say that our community is about far more than cars.

The friendships, encouragement and support between our members are what make the club so special.
