Women In Wheels Close the Season at the Saywell's Track Day at Goodwood

On Saturday 10th October, a group of Women In Wheels ladies headed to Goodwood Motor Circuit in West Sussex for the final Saywell charity track day of 2026. It was the last event of the season, and a fitting way to sign off a brilliant year on track.

We were honoured to be invited to the last three Saywell events of the year. At each one, Women In Wheels took over the circuit for our own dedicated session. Seeing a grid of cars driven by women out on one of the UK's most famous race tracks never gets old.

What is the Saywell Goodwood charity track day?

Saywell International hosts a series of supercar track days at Goodwood Motor Circuit each year, raising money for local charities and good causes. The 2026 calendar ran from May to October, with the October date closing the season.

Track time is invite-only and strictly for supercars and sports cars. That makes it one of the most special track days on the Goodwood calendar. Spectators can come along for free, so it is a great day out for car lovers and families too.

Our session on track

Goodwood is pure motoring history. Lapping the circuit where legends once raced is a feeling you don't forget, and having the track to ourselves for a session made it even more memorable.

The atmosphere in the paddock was relaxed and friendly. There was plenty of time to chat, admire the cars and swap stories between runs.

The cars that took to the track

Our ladies brought out a stunning line-up:

  • Porsche 911 GT3 – precise, sharp and built for exactly this kind of day

  • Aston Martin – British elegance with serious performance

  • Ford Mustang – plenty of V8 character and presence

  • Audi – quick, composed and confident through Goodwood's fast corners

Thank You Peter SayWell

A huge thank you to Peter Saywell for inviting Women In Wheels to the final three track days of the season, and for supporting such worthwhile charities. Being trusted with our own session at an invite-only event means a great deal to our club.

Looking ahead to 2027

We are already looking forward to next season. We hope to be back at Goodwood in 2027, alongside our summer soirée and new UK driving tours for members.

If you drive a Sports/Super car and fancy joining a session next year, keep an eye out on the events page
